CALL DARLA pressed the issue early outside, four path first turn, dueled midway backstretch into the far turn, shook clear late in that bend, drifted out a bit when straightened for home bothering PATIENT EMILE, came out again late in a more pronounced manner to bother that same rival under a left handed crop, held in the final strides. PATIENT EMILIE showed the way down the stretch the first time, continued to vie while in the two path first turn, fell back early backstretch, moved out, rebid into the lane, bothered slightly in upper stretch when the winner came out, bothered again late while being forced out, could not get to that foe in the final strides. MAJESTIC IRONS with the pace while between foes, dueled the middle part inside of CALL DARLA, first to blink of that duo in the second turn, could not contain PATIENT EMILIE through the stretch, saved the show. SUNSHINE SISTER broke back and turned in an even effort in lacking a closing kick. KAMIKAZE OZIE last to leave, trailed most of the way, never a factor. MOMMA WINK in mid pack early, fell back before a half, continued to fade and finished far back. FOLLOWING A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER OF PATIENT EMILIE AGAINST CALL DARLA FOR INTERFERENCE THROUGH THE STRETCH, THE LATTER WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED SECOND.
