Chart notes
NONNA'S LOVE was away alertly then showed speed, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied in the two path for most of the turn then dropped to the inside, responded well when asked at the top of the stretch, kicked clear inside the three-sixteenths pole, was put to a right-handed crop at the furlong marker, remained under the crop until just inside the sixteenth-pole then was placed under a hand-ride to the finish while best. MAIORA was reluctant to load then broke a step slow, settled under some urging, was asked for more in the three then four path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the six path while under a drive and finished willingly to get the place. MATADORA was hustled from the gate then chased the leading duo, traveled around the turn in the two path, pursued the winner under a drive in the stretch and lacked the needed kick while clear for the show. CHRYSALISM showed speed then pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the four path for most of the turn then dropped to the three path under urging, lost touch with the winner under a drive inside the three-sixteenths pole and weakened. CONNECT THE STARS ducked out significantly at the start and was off slow, angled in at the rear under urging, dropped from the two path to the rail on the turn and was no factor. VENERINI broke a bit slow then was taken in hand while in crowded quarters, moved up under some urging then settled off the pace, was roused while moving from the rail to the three path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path and came up empty. GOLDEN GOOSE broke a bit slow, raced at the rear, moved from the three path to the two path on the turn and failed to threaten.
