Chart notes
LONG SHORTS prompted the pace in the three path, bid in the two path midway around the far turn, stayed on to take a narrow lead passing the eighth pole, and inched ahead late. LOVELY REGALO bumped with an outer foe at the start, set the pace in the two path, was coaxed along the inside around the far turn, dug in down the stretch, but was edged out thru the final furlong. NO MANCHES rated in the five path, came under rousing while in the four path passing the three-eighths pole, and rallied from back in the five path down the lane for show. MOTOR CITY MENACE bumped with an inner foe at the start, trailed in the four path, moved up in the five path around the far turn, and continued to improve from the six path down the stretch. NICE SHOT DOUG bumped with an outer foe at the start, chased in the four path, was ridden in the three path around the far turn, and stayed on down the lane. BACHMAN chased in the three path but did not factor. STRIKE PRICE bumped with an inner foe at the start, tracked inside but retreated.
