Chart notes
MOLTO VINO saved ground, shifted out into the turn, rallied through traffic, swung out at the top of the lane, closed willingly, got up late and drew clear. BLUE RIDGE QUEEN was sent to the front to set the pace past the sixteenth pole and was outclosed to finish second best. GIRL THIRSTY saved ground to the upper stretch, altered course, closed when clear and earned show while no threat to the top two. CZAR'S BALLERINA was never far back, raced outside, advanced to the turn, bid and came up empty. FRONT AND SILVER settled off the pace, bid and had nothing left for the drive. BE A BANDIT raced in the second flight, tired on the turn, stopped and was not urged through the stretch. DOLLY'S GUITAR was rank, threw head, bore out and checked to the backstretch, trailed the field and was not urged through the stretch.
