Chart notes

R DOC broke back, moved up steadily to become a forward factor before a furlong three wide, prompted the pace the through the second turn, moved up to duel backstretch the second time, raced that rival into submission through the final turn, well clear and the end under steady handling. HIGHTAIL COWBOY broke well, cleared toward the inside soon after, rated in setting the pace the middle half, dueled inside the winner into the final turn, could not keep pace with that one in the drive, saved the second spot. CHEROKEE SUNRISE fell back to trail after the after the start, continued to lack speed for six furlongs, outside rally into the stretch, finished willingly while too late for the place. DESOTO'S WAR went one paced early, in some traffic past the wire the first time, chased the top two into the far turn, lacked a closing punch. RACE DAY REBAL raced close up early along the inside, began a steady fade after five furlongs. R D C POSSE settled off the pace, had nothing for the drive. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
