Chart notes
AGENCY showed the way early under pressure from TOUGHNESS, put that rival away at the quarter pole but was soon confronted by OUR BUCKY CHARM entering the lane, dug in under left handed encouragement and gamely prevailed. OUR BUCKY CHARM stalked the top pair outside a rival into the turn, moved out three deep around the bend, challenged the leader from outside in the two path turning for home, battled to the wire but could not get by. YOGI BOY stalked the pace from inside, moved out under left handed urging in the lane, finished determinedly but was only able to secure third. WESTERN AVENUE tracked along the inside then trailed in range to the turn, eased out to the three path around the bend, finished willingly late but could not find the needed late punch. TOUGHNESS pressed the pace from outside to the five-sixteenths pole, could not kick on with AGENCY at the quarter pole and faded down the lane.
