Chart notes
FINCAIRN forwardly placed outside the top pair around the first turn, went up to take command early on the backstretch before clearing inner rival, led along the rail through the far turn, kicked clear in upper stretch and was kept busy to the wire. GREY AREA fought for the early lead outside a rival then inched ahead around the clubhouse turn, lost the advantage early on the backstretch, chased after FINDAIRN to the far turn, asked two wide around that bend, could not make any headway on the winner but was able to best the others. DONTGETFOOLEDAGAIN dueled from inside into the first turn then pressed around the bend, chased the new leader in the middle stages, saved ground through the far turn while moving into second but flattened in the furlong grounds. WEBSTER chased four wide into the first turn, moved into the three path while starting to pull the rider along, asked two, three, then four wide on the second bend and weakened. ONE BOLD BID chased a bit off the rail early, trailed up the backstretch under coaxing, traveled along the inside then angled out into the lane and was never a factor. MASTER JACQUES chased in the four path then started to pulled four deep leaving the first turn, rounded the far turn three then four wide, drifted into the lane and tired.
