Chart notes

HOODLESS exchanged a bump at the start, settled off the leaders stalking from outside heading into the turn, went three to four wide on that bend, was put to urging at the top of the stretch coming five to six wide, had a bit to do to catch the clear leader but kept on strongly late to drive past inside the seventy-yard marker. BEDTIME went straight to the front, set the pace inside and in the clear, kicked away in upper stretch, steadily weakened through the final sixteenth, came out a bit late and just held the place from SARATOGA HOLIDAY, who stalked the pacesetter, was inside the eventual winner in upper stretch with aim but much to do to catch the leader, kept on evenly late and just missed second. ONEJABTOOMANY exchanged bumps on both sides at the start, was encouraged along up the backstretch racing near the inside, was under urging outside the quarter pole coming between those foes at that juncture, swung six wide into upper stretch, failed to rally in the lane. NO REJOYCE exchanged a bump at the start, switched out heading up the backstretch, went four then five wide on the turn and under urging by the five-sixteenths, floated eight wide into upper stretch, failed to rally. TABEI saved ground inside but was never near enough to threaten.
