Chart notes

BORDER TOWN pressed the pace inside at the start, moved in closer to engage on the fence by the half, inched away from the early speed foe by the five sixteenths marker, spurted away for a clear advantage two wide turning for home and while being kept to the task down the lane held safe for the win when crossing the finish line. HIGHLY FLAMMABLE was nestled on the rail, tracking the contesting duo down the backside, waited on the fence early on the turn, followed the pacesetter when roused for more at the quarter pole and in the two path down the lane could only chase the winner home to best the rest at the wire. ECHO WITH LAUGHTER settled in mid-division while three deep along the back straight, ranged up three wide outside horses on the turn, angled to the four path in the hunt straightening out for home but could not find more late when outkicked in the final furlong, still holding easily to be a clear third at the finish line. DRYDEN could see the field while having horses on either side in the two path down the back straight, kept pace just off the fence through the running around the bend, shifted inwards to the rail at the quarter pole and was one paced in the two path in the stretch running to be a fringe player in the end. BOLD RELOAD had a narrow lead between foes in the early going, battled outside from the half mile marker until midway through the turn, gave way up top going the wrong direction by the quarter pole and emptied out, having nothing left going three wide for the drive in upper stretch.
