Chart notes
COURT STAR raced off the pace in the three path, was ridden in the four path around the turn, floated out to the seven path entering the stretch, rallied while continuing on the left lead into the final furlong, and got up in the closing stages. ENDLESS FASHION tracked in the two path, swept to the lead midway around the turn, kicked away turning into the lane, but was caught late by a rallying outer foe. RUNNETH OVER was wellback in the four path, driven around the turn, and kept on from the six path down the stretch. LADY EDNA broke well to set the pace along the inside, but lost the lead midway around the turn, and yielded down the stretch. FORTUNE DREAMS chased inside but made no closing bid. GUSSY got put in tight leaving the chute causing her to appear to hit the rail and check hard around the eleven-sixteenths pole, then was eased around the track and walked off.
