Chart notes
BROTHER REID was bumped at the start, trailed the field, came three wide into the lane, angled out, commenced a late run outside, closed willingly and proved best late. PROWLING TIGER stalked between rivals, tracked on the turn, raced behind horses, lacked a clear path in traffic in the stretch, then rallied between horses late and got second. CAJUN EDDIE vied inside for the lead, dueled on the far turn, dug in gamely in the stretch run and battled to the finish. TEMPLE tracked on the inside, saved ground on the turn, rallied on the rail in upper stretch and dug in gamely to the end. COASTAL BRINK vied two wide, dueled on the far turn, dug in through the stretch drive and was outfinished late. LEGENDARY LORE was bumped at the start, raced off the pace inside, rallied in the stretch, altered course late and closed. FACE VALUE raced off the rail, off the pace, went four wide at the half mile marker to the far turn and faded. DON GUILLERMO raced three wide early, stalked three wide, steadied on the far turn and gave way. After a Stewards' Inquiry into the stretch run the race was declared official.
