Chart notes
DELIZIOSA got brushed at the start and steadily advanced to take over the lead in opening stages, set the pace and widened in hand around the turn, saved ground turning for home, put to a drive approaching the furlong marker, had more left in reserve, ran on along the inside and kept clear. CANKTON'S COWGIRL was forwardly placed up the backstretch, was ridden along two wide around the turn, sustained a bid just off the inside down the lane and secured second best. MY MAYBELENNE stalked the leader in the opening quarter, hustled along three wide approaching the quarter pole, kept under firm handling into the lane and cleared the rest. FIREBAUGH raced off the early pace, swung three to four wide into the upper stretch and never threatened. NORTHERN GEM showed response in the opening quarter, weakened around the turn and continued to tire in the drive. GLAMOROUS LIFE failed to move into contention. REINA DEL SUR trailed throughout. OPENING QUARTER WAS HAND TIMED DUE TO TIMER MALFUNCTION
