SWAN LAKE was unhurried, co-trailing outside three wide on the first turn, stayed at the rear outside along the backside, started to make a move when urged for more run three wide at the quarter pole, swung out widest in the six path having clear run turning for home, with a quick turn of foot swept past all rivals outside beginning at the furlong marker and impressively won going away at the finish line for the last to first rally down the stretch. ETHNIC SOUL had a stalking role near the rear just sitting off the rail, made little progression along the backside, started to get into gear when roused for more midway around the final turn, shifted out five wide with run at the top of the stretch, rider stood up momentarily when the winner burst on past on the outside at the sixteenth pole but quickly recovered to charge late, capturing the runners up share at the finish line. MY SEA COTTAGE (IRE) rated kindly, in hand outside tracking the pacesetter, moved in to bid outside at the three eighths pole, assumed command with a quarter mile remaining, spurted away briefly in the two path with a furlong from the prize, had no answer when the winner stormed by at the sixteenth pole and faded late to just miss holding for the place share in deep stretch. CAUSIN' MAYHEM had the rail in mid-pack in the first turn, narrowed the margin in the two path between foes by the half, waited for room behind the lead twosome on the far turn, shifted to the three path finding a clear lane in the drive to the wire and finished up willingly for a minor share in the end. BRINGER OF RAIN travelled three wide on the first turn in mid-pack, closed the gap on the leaders three deep outside with a half mile left to go, made a brief move going three to four wide around foes through the last turn to be in the hunt four wide entering the stretch but evened out, unable to continue on with others in the final furlong. HEMLO GOLD had a good spot tracking the lead pair on the fence, waited for room behind the contesting duo around the far bend, shifted out four wide looking for a clear path turning for home, continued to try to find a seam down the lane but could not lengthen stride to the wire lacking running room in the entire stretch. ROYAL HUDSON was hard held on the fence to co-trail inside in the early stages of the race, made little improvement inside horses in the two path through the far turn and failed to fire just off the fence in the stretch running. CONTRIVANCE was loose up top on the first of two turns, had company outside by the three eighths marker, was asked for more but relinquished the lead inside at the quarter pole, tried to fight back taking the inside route at the top of the lane but could not go with others in the drive and folded by the furlong pole.
