DJANGO settled at the rear in the two path, cut the gap on the others while shifting out turning for home, took aim on his newly-leading stablemate from the six path in upper stretch, rallied alongside entering the final furlong and drove past. REAL MEN VIOLIN laid multiple lengths off of the embattled leading pair into the turn, ranged up to bid outside of them and from the five path entering the lane, gained command shortly after as his outer stablemate took aim in upper stretch, but was collared by that one at the furlong grounds and got bested. MCILROY led narrowly from an outer prompter early on, dueled with that one as the pace quickened into the turn, sparred around the bend, led into the lane, but was caught by an outer challenger in upper stretch and faded. LOU'S LEGACY prompted two wide, dueled through quick splits into and around the turn, but yielded between rivals entering the lane and weakened on his left lead.
