Chart notes
SLEW O' MISCHIEF set the pace racing slightly removed from the rail, drifted out during the drive and maintained a safe advantage. WEST COAST BULL savedground chasing SLEW O' MISCHIEF and finished strongly for second. BIG BOWIE saved ground while being unhurried, angled out nearing the eighth pole and finished fast. RED LEADER was bumped at the start by KISS THE TIGER then was prominently placed while racing three-wide but lacked a rally. KISS THE TIGER broke out to bump RED LEADER then was forwardly placed to near the stretch while racing two-wide and tired. VIVACIOUS TRIBUTE hesitated at the start to get away well behind his field then raced in the back, rallied three-wide into the stretch but was unable to seriously threaten. CHECKERED FLAG was allowed to settle, came four-wide into the stretch and was not a factor.
