CRAWFISH BURL had good speed from the break and opened up a clear lead heading down the backstretch while under restraint, was always traveling well, maintined the margin in to the far turn the was let loose with about three furlongs to run, had plenty in reserve and quickened away from the quarter pole and went on to an easy win under a hand ride. GIGI'S LUV vied for the lead inside through the first turn, settled in a tracking position, couild not go on with the winner in the late stages but kept to task and chased that rival gallantly to finish far in front of the next finisher. MY IDEA went four wide on the first turn then was coaxed along to press the pace two to three deep down the backstretch, could not threaten the winner but kept to task and finished evenly to hold the third position. SPECIAL FEATURE was almost caught six wide into the first turn then dove to the inside when clear behind the rest, tracked near the back of the pack then started to advance late on the backstretch run, started to run on from the seven-sixteenths marker, went three wide on the far turn, then went flat in upper stretch and could not improve late. BEAT THE DOUBLE became rank leaving the gate and was far back early on, started to run on from the back approaching the three furlong pole, came four wide into the stretch and flattened out. MISSNEVERSATISFIED settled well off the pace behind the main pack, did not appear to be handling the surface and was done by the far turn. GRACE AND MERCY was allowed to settle into stride from the break and got a good inside position while behind held up behind the pace, tracked inside through the far turn then tired in the stretch. COSTA LADY got caught five wide going into the first turn then was able to angle inside midway on that turn, tracked close up two to three deep to the half-mile pole, was put into a drive from that point but struggled to keep pace late on the far turn and had little to offer in the stretch.
