UPRIGHT tracked the pace while saving ground, remained inside and rallied to the front a furlong out then held driving. WESTERN SIERRA set the pace, was overtaken by the winner then was never in danger for the place. SMOKENSILVER got outspronted to the backstretch, was fanned four wide and lacked a closing response. SUMTHINTOTALKABOUT had no speed and was not a factor. CHANCELLORS BOOM stalked the pace for a quarter mile then tired.
