MONARCA DE ORO dueled from the rail for three furlongs, edged away when roused into the second turn then held under steady urging. LITTLEQUEENOFMEAN contested the pace outside the winner, was two wide and got outrun to the stretch but had enough left to hold seocnd. LUTE'S DIAMOND chased the leaders while saving ground to the stretch then was gaining for the place. STEEL NERVES was squeezed at the start and took up, was two wide throughout and lacked the needed late response. WARNING SOUND had no speed and was never a threat. CAL stalked the pace for three furlongs while three wide then tired and gave way.
