Chart notes
COLLIER settled just off the leaders two or three wide, bid into the lane and wore down RAIN through the final sixteenth. RAIN was on the pace along the inside to move clear in the turn, resisted through the lane but could not contain the winner late. TRIBAL SPIRIT was two and three wide in the turn while back off the pace, moved inside coming to the stretch then could not reach the top pair. JACKIE FLASH stalked the pace three or four wide, came five wide into the lane and could not produce the needed late run. T R'S FIRST saved ground and failed to threaten. SWEET SLEW was along the inside and failed to mount a bid. TAPIT'S LADY showed early speed three or four wide and weakened into the lane.
