Chart notes

RICK'S DANCER away alertly and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn while under snug restraint, continued to dictate a pedestrian pace through the second turn and in the run down the backstretch, continued his battle from the inside of THIRSTY FRIEND through the final turn, and held that rival safely at bay in the lane while drifting six out from the rail in deep stretch. THIRSTY FRIEND broke sharply and pressed the pace from the outside of RICK'S DANCER while under a tight hold, continued throughout from the outside of that rival, was carried seven wide through the stretch drive and just missed. LOGICAL AL was slow into stride and raced into a stalking trip three wide entering the stretch the first time, maintained his position in the run down the backside and through the final turn, and finished with late interest two out from the rail in the drive to garner a share. WEEKENDINDELMAR tracked the leaders while a bit rank entering the first turn, settled off the pacesetters while just off the rail through the stretch the first time and in the run down the backstretch, rallied along the rail entering the final turn, but needed more in the lane while finishing from along the inside. SILARONE unhurried early while dropping back to trail entering the first turn, bided his time at the back of the pack in the run down the backside and into the final turn, and failed to make a late impact. Following the running of this race the steward's conducted an inquiry into an incident between the top two finishers leaving the final turn and through the lane. After review there was no change made to the original order of finish. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
