Chart notes
BRIAN'S DE LEIGHT broke sharply and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the stretch the first time, continued to set a pressured pace in the run down the backside and through the final turn, drifted off the rail leaving the turn and was quickly overtaken by TEXAS MOONSHINE, but battled back determinedly from the outside of that foe to get up in the final strides to prevail. TEXAS MOONSHINE stalked the leaders through the stretch the first time while saving ground along the inside, held a tracking trip from along the rail in the run down the backside, rallied smartly from just off the rail through the final turn, slipped through to take the lead from the inside eof BRIAN'S DE LEIGHT entering the lane, but was unable to dispose of that rival late and just missed. SOMTHING ELUSIVE away well and tracked the leaders through the stretch the first time while racing two out from the rail, collared the leader while mounting a two wide bid entering the final turn, but failed to sustain that bid late while garnering a share. KOWBOYKABIN unhurried early while trailing the field through the stretch the first time while racing one out from the rail, commenced his bid three wide entering the final turn, and finished two wide in the drive while unable to seriously threaten. CERTIFIABLE away alertly and dueled for the lead two wide through the first turn, pressed the pace from the outside of BRIAN'S DE LEIGHT through the second turn and into the backstretch, began to drop back midway down the backside, and had nothing to offer late.
