Chart notes
SNOOKIE BEAR , four deep leaving the backstretch, moved to the two path on the far turn, closed between horses in the drive and got up in time. GALLANT LAD , a bit rank at the break, stayed outside horses, was four deep down the backstretch, advanced three wide leaving the far turn, challenged for the lead in mid stretch and hung. HOMESTEAD bore in when sprinting to the early lead, set the pace along the inner rail, was challenged in upper stretch and faded late. TASKER stayed along the inner rail stalking the pace, swung wide in upper stretch and rallied mildly. COOPER , forced in by HOMESTEAD soon after the break, stayed along the inner rail stalking the pace, was caught behind horses in upper stretch, altered course in mid stretch and lacked rally. COMMITTED GAMES lacked speed, raced wide turning for home and was no factor. LORRAINE (FR) , steadied in close quarters between horses leaving the backstretch, swung wide in upper stretch and weakened.
