SPEEDY FREEZE veered out on the start but was quickly taken hold off to see the field in the beginning, started to range up smoothly three wide at the three eighths marker outside horses, swung out widest in the eight path for the drive to the wire and under a well-timed stretch run got up on the outside in the shadow of the wire for the victory. MIRAMICHI was forwardly placed tracking the lead duo outside, moved three wide to the leader midway around the bend, poked her head in front four wide at the quarter pole, edged away from rivals with a furlong from home but just could not find enough late to fend off the charge by the winner outside. FIRECRACKER FIONA was bumped inside on the break, quickly recovered to prompt the issue outside at the five furlong marker, chased the pacesetter through the turn moving in closer to bid three wide between horses in upper stretch, dueled inside in the two path until the sixteenth pole but faded slightly late to save for third money at the finish line. MY CASH FACTOR was hard held drafting behind the lead pair early on, inched up on the rail by midturn, shifted out five wide with two furlongs still to run having a clear lane and ran on willing to the finish trying to close in for the show award. PEGGY had inside position in the middle of the pack, edged up on the rail midway around the bend to watch the front foursome, had a chance for a piece of the prize five wide straightening out for the drive between foes but could only finish up one paced in the late stages. NEENAH trailed the field in the early stages, shifted out to be seven wide turning for home and passed a few tiring runners while finishing up with good interest late. BONITA MUNDO had a stalking role close to the back of the pack, saved all the ground taking the short way around while closing the gap through the turn, shifted just out two wide at the top of the lane but had no rally to give in the stretch running. UNHEARD settled between rivals in mid-pack, took closer order four wide with three eights remaining, angled to the six path at the top of the lane, lost its path having to angle inwards at the furlong pole and gradually finished up in the two path coming to the wire. DANCETOTHERHYTHM had an outside spot in mid-division down the backside, narrowed the gap on the leaders while four wide with three eighths to go, angled to the seven path between runners for the stretch run, shifted back inside by mid-stretch but failed to fire in the late stages. LOVE YOU LIPPY had a slim lead on the inside in the early going, opened up going into the turn, was collared outside by a few runners turning for home, had little left for the drive and folded on the rail at the furlong pole.
