Chart notes
UNLIMITEDPOTENTIAL settled on the outside, moved up quickly near the three-quarter pole then tracked the pace on the outside, made a bid in the two path late on the backstretch, took the lead in the three path midway through the turn, inched away in the four path into upper stretch, drifted in while extending the advantage under a right-handed crop outside the eighth-pole, switched to a left-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole and held under steady urging. SMILE MON was hustled to the front then showed the way, vied inside under urging on the turn, lost the advantage with three furlongs to run, dropped back in the two path into the stretch, pursued the winner in the drive and secured the place. COSTA TERRA was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, raced at the rear under urging, saved ground while moving closer on the turn, shifted out outside the furlong marker and lacked the needed kick but was along for the show. MARGIN OF AIR was well placed just off the pace, dropped back near the five-eighths pole, was roused while in the two then three path on the turn, moved to the four path outside the quarter-pole, spun into upper stretch in the five path and came up empty. JURISPRUDENCE broke in at the start, was rated just off the pace, dropped back with five furlongs to run, was urged along late on the backstretch, rounded the turn in the three then four path, turned into upper stretch in the six path and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
