Chart notes
PUMP THE BRAKES pressed the pace from a rail position, dropped back when entering the final turn, drove three wide midstretch, then surged in the final yards getting by just in time. AMUSING WAY sat just off the leader while five wide, gained a short advantage into the stretch, and was rundown before the wire. COMMON KNOWLEDGE settled just off the early leaders while four to five wide, was roused into the stretch, and weakened in the late stages. ASKMENOQUESTIONS set the early pace while four wide, was overtaken at the quarter pole and faded gradually. WESTERBERG mild interest late. OUR BOLD PRINCE chased through the backstretch and came up empty in the drive. THE BEAT no threat. THUNDER OF ZION trailed throughout.
