Chart notes
PLAY THE TRUMPET prompted outside of the leader while tugging in the bit under a firm hold, vied around the turn, assumed command as his rider searched for pursuers nearing the lane, kicked clear in upper stretch and held sway under a drive. EXPLOSIVELY tracked two wide, then from the three path around the turn, took aim on the new leader from the five path entering upper stretch and ran on to chase that one home and prove second best. SPRINT OUT PASS lacked speed in the four path, fanned out to the six path into the lane, yet rallied willingly to edge show in the final sixteenth. FARM TEAM pursued off of the pace from the three path, chased in the four path in upper stretch, stayed on bid for show along with an outer rival in the final sixteenth but got outkicked. OUTDOOR CAT broke a beat slow, rushed inside of rivals early on to track along the inside with a half mile to go, then only managed to chase mildly through midstretch and yielded show to an outer pair late. STRING THEORY set the pace inside of the eventual winner, proved no match for that one while entering the lane in the two path and weakened between horses. ZINFATUATION raced off of the pace along the inside, but was through entering the turn and showed little.
