Chart notes
BEAU SOLEIL set the pace along the inside, remained in hand around the turn, held sway from an outer bidder through midstretch, dug in gamely as a wider challenger in the closing stages and narrowly held. BROUGHTY FERRY raced off of the pace in the five path, shifted out to the five path into the lane, rallied to bid outside of the top pair in the final sixteenth, sparred with the leader late and missed. BETTE DAVIS tracked along the inside, took aim outside of the leader and rom the three path entering the lane, ranged up to offer a bid in midstretch, but flopped back to her left lead leaving that station, hung before getting turned away and was outkicked by an outer rival late. BEST PERFORMER trailed near the inside and failed to menace. TAKE SHAPE bobbled subtly leaving the gate, tracked three wide, chased in the four path into the lane and faded between horses. AWESOME ANNMARIE altered outside of the leader entering the backstretch, stalked two wide but faded between horses leaving the five sixteenths pole.
