Chart notes
CHELAN SUMMER saved ground setting the early pace, drifted out slightly nearing the three-sixteenths pole and prevailed under strong handling. GET DOWN saved ground while being allowed to settle, slipped through during the drive and closed strongly. CODE BREAKER tracked CHELAN SUMMER while racing two-wide, came three-wide into the stretch and finished well for third. GRAN SENOR DEL ORO was allowed to settle while racing three-wide on the turn, came four-wide into the stretch and was gaining slightly late. JOHN PORTER saved ground while racing in the middle of the pack and failed to seriously threaten. WAR COUNCIL was unhurried early, came two-wide into the stretch and was not a factor. JAZZY BULL HORN was forwardly placed early while racing two-wide and tired. NOT TOO HOT COCOA was off a step slow then raced in the back of the field, came three-wide into the stretch and failed to menace.
