Chart notes
PURE ROCKET gained the early lead and move in to just off the inside, made all the running and widened into the lane then held the margin under steady handling. OREGON COUNTY tracked the pace three or four wide and could not close on the winner in the lane. UNFATHOMED stalked the pace four wide, moved in entering the lane and gained the show late. PREACHER chased the winner from three wide and weakened into the lane. ROSIE'S BOY was along the inside and could not threaten. LIFE ON THE NILE failed to mount a bid out from the rail.
