Chart notes
HAZEDNCONFUSED chased the pace outside STRONG FINISH around the turn, was carried to the six path by that one in upper stretch, battled outside and prevailed in an extended drive. STRONG FINISH sped to the early lead along the rail, stayed in the two path on the turn, drifted to the five path in upper stretch and gave way grudgingly. SUMO , three wide chasing the pace around the turn, moved to the two path in mid stretch and finished willingly. SOUTHERN HORSE (ARG) stayed along the inner rail around the turn and through the stretch, remained on his left lead through the stretch and failed to rally. SPEAKERIT raced in the three path on the turn and was not a factor. IT'LL DO reared at the start while in the hand of the assistant starter causing his rider to step off and was declared a non-starter after a stewards' inquiry.
