Chart notes
STORMY HOLLOW raced in the two path around the turn chasing the pace, bid for the lead outside ELLINGER near the sixteenth pole then drove clear. ELLINGER accelerated to the early lead, remained along the rail, was challenged near the sixteenth pole and gave way grudgingly. GENERAL MAXIMUS , four deep well off the pace on the turn, was fanned six wide by BIGTONTEN in upper stretch and rallied outside horses. BIGTONTEN raced in mid pack on the turn, swung to the five path in upper stretch and lacked the needed response. REPEATINGOFCOURSE , unhurried on the backstretch, raced in the two path on the turn and was no factor. LOU'S BIRTHDAY chased the pace from the three path on the turn and weakened. WHO SAYS SO was outrun. HONORS DUE remained along the inner rail chasing the pace around the turn and gave way.
