Chart notes
COLONEL BARTON tracked three wide not far off the pace, advanced on the leaders through the turn then had a litlte trouble changing leads at the top of the stretch but quickly straightened out and wore down MY MAN FLINTSTONE in the final sixteenth. MY MAN FLINTSTONE was sent to the front and dictated the pace with some pressure to the inside from ATRAS, opened up at the top of the stretch and was finishing with good energy but got nailed in the last jump by the winner. CALL ME MIDNIGHT bobbled slightly at the start then was allowed to settle into stride but was well behind through the early stages, madea mild late run to improve but was never a serious threat. ATRAS pressed MY MAN FLINSTONE down the backstretch, then dropped back on the turn, was unable to quicken late, and outfinished by the rest.
