Chart notes
WORD PLAY (GB) pulled early then settled in a stalking position in the two path, continued two wide into the second bend, eased over path to make a three wide move past the quarter pole, kicked clear easily in upper stretch and was lightly coaxed through the final furlong. GIGGLE GIGGLE reserved in the beginning and angled to the inside, trailed in range to the far turn, angled out and came four wide into the stretch and outkicked CAMANOE for second. CAMANOE stalked the pacesetter from inside, tipped out and bumped AGGRO late on the far turn and got outkicked for the place honors. CHASING KAT grabbed the early lead and moved inside, took pressure in the middle stages, cleared briefly at the quarter pole but was soon confronted by WORD PLAY (GB), lost command turning for home, yielded in upper stretch and faded out of contention. AGGRO stalked the leader from the two path, drew alongside on the backstretch, lost touch with the leader approaching the quarter pole, got bumped and put in tight by CAMANOE between rivals late on the bend and tired.
