AWESOME BOURBON stalked from outside, moved forward to engage coming into the turn, dueled from the three-eighths, was put to strong urging by the top of the stretch, edged away late. SUMMER COMMANDER set the pace inside, was engaged on the turn, dueled inside the winner, was outkicked. EL COHETE stalked in behind the pace, was off the leading pair moving outside those four wide coming into upper stretch, was no match for the top two. LUCKY ROMANCE was outpaced early, encouraged along inside past the half, shifted out late on the turn, came into upper stretch five wide, improved. COOLER MAN brushed with a foe at the start, was outpaced early, saved ground on the turn, ran on mildly. NEXT PITCH settled outside foes in the second group going three wide into the turn, was under a ride past the five-sixteenths, faded in the stretch. MO TOURIST had minor contact at the start, chased from between foes in the second flight up the backstretch, floated six wide turning for home, failed to rally.
