Chart notes
RUN BENJI RUN led in the two path, raced three wide in the stretch, drew off at the eighth pole and was kept to task. MCMUSIC pressed the pace in the five path, bid in the three path going into the turn but was no match for the winner. MESS HALL pressed the pace between rivals, gave way slightly on the turn and gained the place.. CHARLIE TOLU stalked the pace inside and faded near the eighth pole. WILEY WILLARD pressed the pace in the four path and faded in the stretch. TWICE BITTEN bore out at the start, raced in the three path and faded in the stretch. MAZZEO was not a factor.
