Chart notes

PLEASEUSETHEPORTAL raced up close along the rail around the first turn then edged back and settled into tracking position, hustled along late on the far turn and swung four wide into the lane, steadily advanced along the outside and cleared late. SURPRISE ROAD TRIP was forwardly placed around the first turn, stalked three wide up the backstretch, remained patiently handled around the far turn, shifted out and given cue four paths wide entering the upper stretch, advanced to duel with EYE OF THE PANTHER, then took a slim lead and got denied late. EYE OF THE PANTHOR was unhurried and settled in the back through early stages, picked up the pace and loomed a threat three wide at the quarter pole, vied into the stretch run, fought back when challenged by SURPRISE ROAD TRIP in the final furlong, lost the edge approaching the final sixteenth and yielded late. ORPHAN SANDY was forwardly placed through early stages, vied between rivals going by the quarter pole, fought back in the upper stretch then weakened past the furlong marker. PRIZED TAP held a slim lead around the first turn and up the backstretch, vied inside going by the quarter pole then tired in the drive.
