Chart notes
TALE OF THE LYON pressed the pace along the rail into the turn, gained a narrow lead at the five sixteenths pole, turned back a strong bid from the runner up in mid stretch, dug in gamely under left handed urging through the final stages and proved best. BUCKEYE ROSE was taken outside leaving the chute, advanced steadily three wide through the turn, drew on near even terms for the lead outside the winner near the furlong marker then couldn't get past the winner. CHLOES ANGEL unhurried early, passed tiring rivals late in the five path. CITY SIGNS settled inside the lacked the needed response. CATABOUT was outrun. VILLAGE CAT set the pace two wide until the middle of the turn then was used up. PER RULING EAD2025-44 FROM THE HORSERACING INTEGRITY AND WELFARE UNIT, CITY SIGNS IS DISQUALIFIED FROM FOURTH TO UNPLACED DUE TO A MEDICATION VIOLATION.
