Chart notes
FULL SPECTRUM broke in front, set all the pace, was shaken up at the top of the stretch, the rider took a look back nearing the furlong marker then widened at will to win as much the best under a hand ride. SGT YORK pressed the pace two wide and was no match for the winner while clearly second best. GRAY TORMENTOR had his head turned and hopped at the start, stalked the early pace three wide, dropped back on the far turn then came on again late three wide. KICKSTART ran up on heels causing his rider to check at the eleven sixteenths pole, dropped back to last then shifted outside, surged past rivals rapidly into the far turn four wide, drew closer to the winner nearing the quarter pole then leveled off. SOL OF VAQUERO was no factor. PAYMASTER GENERAL moved up four wide before a half mile then was used up.
