Chart notes
VALIANT WEST settled behind the pace in the three path, loomed boldly in the turn to claim the lead in the final sixteenth and kick clear. VINEGAR HILL showed good early speed from the two path but gave way in the final sixteenth. REWIRE rated in the four path, made no bid, finished evenly. XAVI raced off the pace, split rivals in the first quarter to steadily advance throughout to improve position. CUTLASS KING rated between rivals off the pace, made no impact. BRAHMS JR. raced off the pace in the three path, no factor. RECAUSE trailed early, angled to the four path of the stretch to pass tiring rivals. SPEIGHTIEMAN pressed the pace from the two path, retreated after half. GUN IT AND RUN IT raced off the pace of the inside, no threat.
