Chart notes
DANCE STEP broke well, set a pressured pace into the stretch, drew clear under left and right handed urging before the furlong marker and maintained her advantage under strong handling. H. T. XENA void of early speed, closed rapidly in the middle of the racetrack through the stretch and finished clear for second. EPICUREAN chased the pace four then three wide and faded late. DULCE VICTORIA pressed the pace three wide and weakened in the stretch. OPULENT WAYS had speed into the turn then faded. MAY MAYS CASTLE pressured the winner early along the inside, had speed into the stretch then flattened out.
