Chart notes
BUSK pressed two wide, bid entering the lane, vied while forging an advantage in midstretch and drove clear. TURN UP THE TREES took light contact from his outer stable-mate at the start, set the pace along the inside, led as the eventual winner applied pressure around the turn, dug in as that one bid entering the lane, got headed at the furlong grounds and was second best. COWAN brushed with an outer rival then an inner foe at the start, raced off of the pace along the inside, split foes two wide at the three furlong pole to progress while shifting out turning for home, pursued the top pair from the five path into the lane but leveled off. MISTER KELLY broke a step slow, trailed in the two path then moved up between horses in upper stretch. BORN FLAWLESS brushed with an inner foe at the start, stalked along the inside, gave way around the turn and steadily faded. SHAPE NOTE tracked from midpack three wide, chased in the four path while getting outkicked by an inner rival around the turn, floated to the five path into the lane and faded.
