DESTINO D'ORO leaned inwardly while off a step slow, trailed along the inside, advanced three wide turning for home, swung six wide into the lane, rallied with a good kick outside of rivals and swept past the leader in the final sixteenth. NEW ROME set a clear pace around both turns, held sway through midstretch but was caught by an outer bidder late. SY B broke half a step slow and brushed with an outer rival at the start, laid off of the pace in the three to two path, tucked to the inside around the far turn before checking while pausing behind rivals turning for home, then rallied in the three to four path and between horses in the final furlong and claimed show passing the sixteenth pole. EXPATRIATE saved ground in midpack, ran on to gain place from an outer rival leaving the furlong grounds but got outkicked by an outer pair at the sixteenth pole. BIRKIN GIRL checked as an outer rival shifted across her path into the first turn, laid well back along the inside, got subtly shuffled into the far turn before surpassing an inner rival turning for home, then rallied willingly along the inside through the lane. JUSTINQUESO stalked the clear leader form the two path, maintained aim on that one in upper stretch, but lacked a bid before tiring between rivals at the furlong grounds. PROMISEMEANEMPIRE tracked in the four path, chased in the three path around the far turn and gave way between rivals entering the lane. CAT EYES (IRE) broke a beat slow and brushed with an inner foe at the start, settled well back two wide, spun five wide into the lane and made little impact. EUNOMIA tracked from the three path, chased in the four path in upper stretch and weakened between horses into the final furlong. MINDY'S UNION saved ground off of the pace but was through nearing the lane and eased thereafter.
