Chart notes
SWEET ALEXIS ceded the lead and settled behind PICKIN ANA GRINNIN through the early stages, set off after that one on the far turn, took command meeting little resistance at the quarter pole and held safe from a pair of challengers in the stretch. GASTOWN settled well off the pace through the first half then launched a bid on the far turn, was finising well and closing the margin on the winner but ran out of time. CINCY'S ANNA was not asked for speed at the start and settled at the back of the field, circled the field on the far turn, came four wide into the stretch and finished up well under intermittent urging to gain third. PICKIN ANA GRINNIN was sent from the break and seized the lead on the first turn, led the field down the backstretch wtih SWEET ALEXIS not too far back, tried to open up on the far turn then gave way when confronted by the rival at the quarter pole then weakened in the stretch. PIP SQUEEK settled well behind the pace and lacked a late bid. MADISON RAE tracked three wide to the far turn, weakened leaving the seven-sixeenths marker and had little to offer in the stretch. ROSIE'S ANGUS chased from close up to the half, then came under a ride, struggled to keep up on the far turn and was not involved in the late stages.
