Chart notes
PRINCE OF BROADWAY got bumped at the start by LOVE YOU, who broke outwards, came under hustling briefly and chased three to four wide down the backstretch in closest aim of the leader before heading three wide through the turn, remained patiently handled until set down spinning four wide into upper stretch, seized command straightened away, went clear under a drive and was geared down inside the final seventy yards to the finish. SPITFIRE crossed directly to the inside after the break and chased along the rail coming under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, angled three wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one, improved position to secure the place honors. STREET SUE broke on top and cut the pace just off the inside briefly getting throttled down a bit at the nine-sixteenths when pulling on the bit, remained just off the inside through the turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun three wide into upper stretch, yielded the front straightened away and weakened. ELLA GRACE chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under a ride from the five-sixteenths, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. LOUEZZA coaxed from the gate, chased three then two wide under encouragement from the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, tired. LOVE YOU broke out at the start bumping PRINCE OF BROADWAY, chased five then four wide just off the pace coming under light coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, came under a drive inside the five-sixteenths, went seven to eight wide at the head of the stretch and faltered.
