Chart notes
SURPRSINGLYPERFECT stalked the pace racing two-wide, moved up three-wide nearing the quarter pole, lead nearing the eighth pole and prevailed under strong handling. I'M NOBLE was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch and finished fast. ANITANEWMERCEDES promoted MISTER MAFIOSO racing along the outside, took the lead from that one nearing the quarter pole, responded when headed nearing the eighth pole and held on well for third. MANGIA PANE was allowed to settle, came two-wide into the stretch, angled out nearing the eighth pole and finished in a mild rally. NAVAL ESCORT dropped back while saving ground and was gaining ground late. MISTER MAFIOSO saved ground setting the pace to near the quarter pole and tired.
