Chart notes
CLASSIC BET prompted the pace in the three path, bid midway around the far turn, took the lead while in the five path passing the eighth pole, and inched ahead in the final furlong. SEEHOSS set the pace inside, dug in while floating out to the four path at the top of the stretch, but got edged out in the final furlong. JOEY'S LIGHTENING tracked inside, cut the corner turning into the lane, but was one paced. NAPOLEONIC CODE rated in the five path, took aim in the six path at the top of the stretch, but flattened. APPLEWOOD steadied at the start and traied inside, was ridden from the rail around the far turn, and finished evenly. INSIGNIS chased in the four path but faded in the five path down the lane. THE THIMBLE raced off the pace in the two path and never threatened. TOUCHDOWN JOE stalked in the three path early but weakened.
