AMERICAN KNOW HOW set the pace inside, faced an outer challenger passing the quarter, but dug in down the stretch to hold sway. LAGOON chased in the three path, was ridden around the far turn, and ran on in the five path down the lane for place. PERRY COUNTY pressed in the two path, bid passing the quarter, and finished evenly in the three path down the stretch. SONO had a slow start, trailed in the four path, angled out to the six path under a drive turning into the lane, but evened out late. MESA SPIRIT rated inside but weakened in the stretch.
