Chart notes
MAGGIE'S GIRL broke sharp, cruised into the lead around the first turn, never tested leaving the quarter pole, held safe driving through the final sixteenth. ZIP START stalked the leader inside around the first turn, angled out to bid two deep into the lane, chased on well second best. LONA LEE clean rail pocket trip to far turn, shifted out four wide in upper stretch, worked hard final sixteenth up show at the wire. JUBASLILBALLERINA tracked the pace three deep into the far turn, angled inside leaving the quarter pole, evened out nipped for the show. JUBA'S PARADE saved ground from off the pace, called on leaving the quarter pole, came up empty late. STILL GRUMPY slow into stride, roused on three wide upper, never fired late. NO DENYING DENIS saved ground to far turn, rail bid, weakened.
