Chart notes
GEARING UP set the pace inside, was roused midway around the turn, dug in from the two path down the stretch, and inched clear in the final furlong. TAP INTO THIS chased in the four path, ranged up around the turn, bid from the five path at the top of the lane, and kept on, but was repelled by the winner. FLY GUY MICK prompted the pace in the two path, tipped out to the three path at the top of the lane, but flattened in the final furlong. DIXIE DEVIL tracked inside, was coaxed passing the quarter, but faded. KEEN TALENT had a slow start, was wellback in the five path early but made no impact in the seven path down the lane. PACIFIC laid in range in the three path but weakened in the four path down the stretch. MIDNITE IN FINLEY rated in the two path but made no closing bid. MONTERREY had a slow start, was off the pace in the four path and never threatened.
