Chart notes
AL AMEEQ vied for the lead on the inside and shook clear briefly leaving the five sixteenths but was quickly challenged by BIRD KING nearing the quarter pole, cut the corner leaving the turn and dug in gamely and edged clear to prove best in a game score under a drive. BIRD KING was well rated and guided towards the inside on the first turn, made a two wide bid nearing the quarter pole to go on even terms for command, came three wide off the bend and fought on willingly but was out-kicked while clearly second best. FUNKENSTEIN was settled back and saved ground into the first turn, moved to the outside entering the backstretch, advanced five wide on the far turn and ran on to best the rest while no match to the top two. BOOK MARKER saved ground into the first turn but fell back and trailed leaving the half mile marker, moved out on the far turn and came six wide into the lane and passed the tiring rivals. MR MAC QUHAE was in between rivals on the first turn while chasing the early pace, moved to the inside and saved ground on the far turn but weakened. SWIFT TAP was five wide into the first turn, tracked the pace four wide and tired in the lane. DURKIN'S CALL chased the pace in between rivals on the first turn, then moved in to be two wide on the far turn and tired. ZIPPER ZAPPER steadied into the first turn, settled towards the inside and was two to four wide on the far turn but tired.
